Kington Solar Power...

For anyone interested , while staying in the cottage we invite you to come and see our solar panels installed on our own house in Kington.

These are supplying power directly onto the UK grid, so far over 10 million watt hours (ie units of electricity) since they were installed .

Simple enough - when the sun shines or its a bright but cloudy day they make electricity, and our electricity supplier Good Energy pay us 10p per unit (kWh) of electricity - whether we use it or it goes out to the grid.

The monitoring of them is still awating more time from me for its development, but the link below will lead you to the present summary.There are also some other UK sites which are currently generating electricity on this public area if you are interested, some solar some wind generators.
